People come to see me when they are feeling unhappy. Maybe they are feeling overwhelmed and are finding it hard to cope or perhaps they don't really know what is troubling them, they just know that something, is not quite right. Everyone is different, I work alongside each persons specific need.

It helps you to recognise painful feelings and release them in an appropriate manner which brings about greater self - knowledge and personal strength. With this in place you can develop coping strategies to improve and enrich your life.

The counselling sessions take place in a safe environment, where you can expect to be listened to in a non-judgmental way with respect and empathy. I will support you to recognise, acknowledge and deal with painful and suppressed emotions which may be affecting the quality of your life experience. I use a range of techniques to support you in achieving this.
Therapy goes at your own pace. The number of sessions you require varies depending on your need. Sessions normally last for one hour however extended sessions are available if required. I offer face to face flexible appointments daytime, evening and weekends. Appointments by Telephone or Skype can also be arranged.
